Aisha, 17, is a schoolgirl from Nigeria. Along with five other Muslim girls from around the world, she reacts to the recent kidnapping of schoolgirls in Nigeria and talks about what education means to her. I go to school because I want to make good use of my life. I want to be able to make my own way in the world without being a burden on anyone. I dream of being able to help myself and even those around me. Schooling is now the major guarantee of getting a good life. Going to school is also a process of personal progress.
