Few days before this year comes to an end, Al- Ahly ascertains his onet Confederation title for the Egyptian football. This achievement comes after a several failures the fans of the Egyptian football have gone through in the year 2014, after the egress of all the national teams and the clubs as well from all different competitions and from the qualification for the African Cup. However, as a usual act from Al-Ahly and his favourite habit of winning in the last minutes he achieved his 20th world title as the most club achieving continental titles after winning the match against Sewa Sport. The number one man of the match was the fans of Al-Ahly club who have filled Cairo Stadium with more than 50,000 attendants. The fans didn’t lose hope till the winning goal of the match scored by Emad Meteb, the goal made Cairo go on fire with the streets full of celebration covered in red colour. In a huge celebration organized by the management of Al-Ahly club the fans celebrated winning the title with the players and the management of the club. Official statement by the board stated that the title was one of it is own and achieving it in such a situation of many injured player and many other circumstances such as inconstancy in the league matches and the bad mental state of the players due to the disqualification of Egypt from the African cup is a major success for the club. Moreover, the management board stated that they are going to support the team during the transfer window in the winter with super players to fulfil the requirement of the team and to make sure that Al-Ahly remains the joy maker for Egypt.
