Al-Awda, The Palestine Right to Return Coalition is asking for your contributions to help us secure a location that will be a hub for second, third, and fourth generation Palestinians living in South Florida to preserve their culture, heritage, education, folklore, literature, and arts. This center, like our other centers, will give Palestinians living in exile the opportunity to stay in touch with their roots through education and culture. It will be a place where films and lectures will be presented; a place where our local South Florida folklore dabke dance group Handala will rehearse and recruit new members; where our children and youth will learn and stay connected to their mother tongue, heritage, music, songs, and art. We need such a place in South Florida and would be most grateful if you would help us in this endeavor.
