This month is gastroparesis awareness month. Gastroparesis is when your stomach is paralyzed completely or to some extent and you cant digest food properly. This disease causes me to have trouble with both liquids and solids and even when I eat nothing for days Im still nauseas and still throw up. It also causes severe stomach pain. I started out throwing up here and there, dealing with nausea here and there. Then started experiencing nausea everyday and vomiting a few times a month, and now Im throwing up almost everyday (with nausea everyday) and sometimes multiple times a day. Ive tried every nausea medicine available in the United states and the only thing that remotely helps is Marijuana and even that is barely getting me by. Ive had 3 feeding tubes and am now waiting to get evaluated for a j tube. Some people dont have it this bad but im just sharing my experience. Theres no cure for this disease and not too many people know about it and both of those things need to change. I hope this was informative! Have a great day
