Al Sharpton is putting together some coordinated demonstrations for Trayvon Martin. There will be a lot of impassioned preaching and flaming rhetoric, with the goal of sanctifying Trayvon Martin. Trayvon Martin’s final earthly act was to sit astraddle a man he had dropped with a sucker punch, and beat him mercilessly. The man, George Zimmerman, had done nothing other than to follow him from a distance because he thought he was a suspicious character. If Martin had any admirable qualities, they will surely be sullied and besmirched by the presence of Mr. Sharpton. This evil man revealed his nature in the Tawana Brawley case, in the Crown Heights riot, and in the Duke Lacrosse case. So to those wanting to send Martin to the Great Beyond with dignity, this is not the way to do it.
