Al-’Imaam an-Nawawiyy mentioned that in his book , and other books. He said in : “Ar-riddah is to interrupt al-’Islam by intending (blasphemy in the heart), or saying (blasphemy uttered) or doing (an act of blasphemy), whether the person says that out of belittling, stubbornness or believing in it.” A lot of people nowadays get it wrong, they THINK that if one does not mean it (or if one has the good intention) one can do, believe or say anything they like. This is not the case. One has to be very careful, for Islam has boundaries, it is very easy to become a muslim, it is also very easy to be out of Islam. Learn the rules around blasphemy so you can protect yourself against it and teach those around you!
