Alan Fleming writes: "Francophones and anglophones keep defining their differences thus creating distance between Us and They. We must build a bridge where we all become Us. Instead of the government funding French-Only activities, the government should fund and support integration of Canadian peoples living in Canada. Funding specific to one sector is anti constitutional. It is divisive. It is discriminating. It is not conducive to creating an inclusive society. The government is wrong. Pick up your telephone and call your local Member of Parliament and tell him or her that you and I would like to have a meeting with them. I will support your cause. Happily I will attend with you. This is a matter of national unity." I think he is spot on!
