Alana Phillips has challenged me to 7 days of thanksgiving. This really ought to be easy-peasy, as I am a blessed man. So lets start..... 1. Always first.... My wife, Deborah Carlson. My support, my courage, my best ideas. 2. My children, including one through marriage: Lindsay Adeline Carlson, Jeremy Carlson, Andrea Moll Carlson, Alex Carlson, Liz Carlson, and Nick Carlson. I cant say what I brought to their table, but they are all extraordinary human beings. I am proud to simply know them, and I am stunned to be their dad (or dad-in-law). 3. The children who have adopted us... or vice versa: Josh Carlson and Kayleen Carlson, plus their guys, Erik, Eli, and Kate. Then, Patrick Lindstrom and Jennifer Brennan. My life is more full because of you all. It occurs to me that if you all come for Thanksgiving someday, we will need a bigger table. Im not going to nominate anyone yet. Gonna cogitate on that a bit..... Seriously, this is fun. Thanks, Alana.
