Alas the sun has set on Willy Nilly on the Wash for yet another season. The black night filled with the bright Autumn stars. The clang of the blacksmiths hammer a distant memory upon the day as the forage ashes lie cold. There are lights among the merchant shops as some pack up their wares and others await the light of day before beginning the dismantling of weeks worth of labor. The sweet sounds of guitars playing and songs sung in three part harmony can be heard too as are the words of goodbye, I love you and till we meet again. The village will lie in wait until we all join again for revelry and companionship that only renfaire can bring. Lulu and I slipped quietly away in the night with intended farewells left unsaid. I say now thank you dear friends, one and all, for another most wondrous year of laughter, song and merriment. We shall miss you all and look forward to seeing those few who are not to far for friendship to stay refreshed. To all our friends we wish you days and nights of love, peace, joy and happiness. May a hardy arrrgh and huzzah slide through your thoughts in the most unexpected ways and the lingering smile bless your days. Until we meet again fare thee well and safe journeys. Anon!
