Albany’s Hosting Baertschi Cross Country Invite & Division 3 Sectionals Albany will be hosting two major cross country meets in October. The Annual Baertschi Invite will take place on Saturday, October 12th at the Fred & Dorothy Baertschi Farm. (W1092 Dunphy Road, Albany, WI 53502) Albany will also be hosting the Division 3 Sectional cross country meet on Saturday, October 26th at the Baertschi Farm. Scheduled race times for both meets are included below. If attending either meet, please try and enter Dunphy Road from Highway E direction. Dunphy Road from Highway 104 direction will be detoured at Edmunds Road starting at 8:45am and reopening at noon on Saturday, October 12th. The same detour will take place on Saturday, October 26th for Sectionals from 10:45am – 12:30pm. This detour is for the safety of all runners and workers. There is no cost of admission for the Baertschi Invite. The WIAA Sectional will charge an admission cost of $3 per person and you will be charged on the road before you park.
