Albeit not being a religious man this is my favorite hymn. When i was a child and stayed at my grandparents my grandfather every sunday would have religious programs playing on his radio. He lost both legs too diabetes. I remember when he had one leg he would drive he even would crawl up on the roof and paint the tin. He would go to church every sunday. When he lost both legs that was not a real option due too the fake legs made his stumps sore but he would lie in his bed or sit in his wheelchair faithfully every sunday when he got up till he fell asleep at night he played his radio. Without that i would pretty much have none. I went to sunday school for a few weeks did not like it and was not really forced to go.
