Aldergrove Kodiaks defeat Abby Pilots twice in a row in first - TopicsExpress

Aldergrove Kodiaks defeat Abby Pilots twice in a row in first games of playoffs round two, 7-2 on Tuesday night and 2-0 tonight. The Junior Hockey League has wisely invested in two refs per game, plus two linesmen, to reduce the playoffs carnage but Abbys slow in figuring out that they cant get away with crap -- they took 7 penalties Tuesday for slashing etc, plus a 10 minute misconduct, while Aldergrove got one penalty, for delay of game. Aldergrove scored on four of those power plays. Discipline paid big time for Aldergrove. In related news, its official, the North Delta Devils are moving to Langley (Preston Arena) next season.
