Alex Salmond standing down as SNP leader and First minister. He is one of the few MPs I have respect for. Never claimed a parliamentary expense in his life, froze MSP wage rises unlike Westminster..froze council tax, removed bridge tolls, Became first minister of an SNP government against all the odds and very very nearly beat off the entire UK media and three main party leaders to win independence. In the end, the false pledges and lies they told were believed by too many. I notice the fab No voters from last night slagging him off. I hope they keep laughing as theyre going to get their free prescriptions. I also notice Labour leader Milliband has said he WONT vote for more powers for Scotland, this since signing a pledge to do so. Not bad! 12 hrs after the no win announced and theyre going back on their promises. PATHETIC.
