Alissas Photography added 7 new photos to the album Aspen- ADOPT ME! Meet Aspen! Aspen is an amazingly handsom 3 year old male pit bull/boxer mix. Hes young, energetic, active and looking for fun! He weighs about 50 lbs and wouldnt mind buffing up a bit. He has a beautiful tri-color coat and one ear with a mind of its own. I think it just gives him more character. Hes very athletic. He loves long walks and runs, dancing and wiggling around with you, and jumping around!!!! As you can tell from his pictures, I am quite fit, and he wants a family that will help him stay that way! Aspen smiles ALL THE TIME! Life is all about making the most of what youve got so I try to find happiness in everything he does! To him, EVERYTHING is an adventure! He loves to explore and sniff around new places and could walk with you and sniff new things all day! Aspens PERFECT person would embrace his active and fun loving personality and of course his strong pit bull heritage! They would want to do fun new things with him like let him run with them while they ride on a bicycle and spend a lot of time with me outside! They would also know that doing things like this EVERYDAY is important! Aspen really wants to be included in someones life and tries his very best to show everyone how much he love being around people and dogs and want to be included. Aspen is also looking for someone who loves to snuggle. He thinks in a former life he was a lap dog, and that part of him really likes to show itself. If he could find someone that would love to let him sit in their lap or lean against them all day after some one on one time at the lake . . .or maybe even someone that liked to curl up in bed to watch a good movie . . .well, that might just be heaven! It can take him a little bit to shut down his brain to watch a movie or snuggle on the couch . . .but once he settle in, hes yours for the night! Another thing he enjoy is getting treats! Man, would he ever love to have someone that would give him treats all the time! Beggin strips are one of his favorites . . .and squeezy cheese too! Aspen does really like being the center of attention and would love to be the center of someones world . . .but at the same time he does have fun with other dogs. He dont like pushy dogs though. He is in great health although he is heart worm positive. His treatment for this may be sponsored if completed in the Austin area, so please dont let this deter you. He is very happy and active and will need an active household and someone committed to following through on what he is being taught in training . . .and hopefully continuing with his training after adoption.
