All Hands! After the wildly successful completion of Operation: Little Rocket, It is time to start focusing on our next operation. Operation: Big Monster. Or MonsterCon. monstercon.org/ MonsterCon is July 18-20 at the Timmons Arena on the campus of Furman University in Travelers Rest, SC (Just slightly north of Greenville). timmonsarena We have a recruiting/information table located on the upper level of the Arena. We are looking into multiple ideas and items for the table including possibly doing a much smaller firing range (PO1 Staubly checking into the feasibility and Im checking to make sure we wont be violating some inter-stellar treaties). Some of you will be getting further emails eliciting specific help or requests as I identify them. I would like as many of the crew that are able to join us at MonsterCon. I understand that it is summer and families have vacations planned, or three days isnt workable. But even if you only able to come one day and help out that would be fantastic. The more people that help, the more chance the helpers will be able to partake in the other MonsterCon activities. I envision our table as not only a recruiting/info table, but a convenient base of operations for our ship as we enjoy the Convention.
