All I have to say about the latest AP/Coaches Polls that have been released is this. 1) If Coach K was leading the football program, he would be crying bloody murder for his program. Duke is so disrespected and I have seen them play several times this year and all they do is pull out wins with lesser talent than most teams they play. Coach Cutcliffe deserves some consideration for the Coach of the Year Award. 2) Big Ten disrespect continues as all these teams do is win with the schedule in front of them. Seems that SEC schools get a pass when they lose a conference game because of a tough conference, but if that were true several years ago, Michigan and OSU would have had a rematch for national chamipionship game. The point is...teams lose and how can a two loss team be ranked ahead of teams with one loss. I know this is the Miss America Contest for College Football the polls and all, but would definitely be interested in seeing how the BCS computers would be doing this season. The problem with a four team playoff is that there are FIVE power conferences. Somehow math is not an upper level thinking skill for the geniuses that thought this system up. Should have done an 8 team playoff with three at large bids, but people were too interested in keeping bowl people happy for money instead of true championship playoff where the decision is made on the field instead of a hotel confrerence room where twelve people meet to decide.
