All Joyful.. :) James 1:2-4.. Consider it pure joy my brethren, whenever you face trials of many kinds.. Because you know that the testing of your Faith develops perseverance.. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking in anything.. It is logical to think that we all have been through trials and temptations.. Have you ever gone a day without being tried..? A day without being pushed into sin..? A day without being stirred up inside..? If you answered No, then you are privileged.. The Bible teaches that Jehovah cannot be tempted, and neither can He tempt anyone.. The devil, however, is the tempter.. But be not afraid, not only because the Lord God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9), but also because He always does His best to assure you that you will have a safe landing, or a way out... For He always does His best for those who leave the choice to Him (Psalm 37:7).. All troubles you endure make you ready for more troubles, so be merry.. For that is the kind of experience that you need.. That which allows you to conquer.. And in the end, you will lack NOTHING.. Or differently put, you will lack no good thing.. For your foundation would have been built on hope and trust, all of the Father.. And He blesses those that hope and trust in Him (Jeremiah 17:7).. Do not be discouraged.. Do not despair.. Do not doubt.. Do not fret.. Do not worry.. Do not give up.. Do not ask Why me..? Do not regret.. Do not turn away from God.. His promise is sure.. And He WILL have all pain and tears and sorrow and sickness and death done away with forever (Revelations 21:4, Jeremiah 30:17).. Turn to Him.. Hes always waiting.. Waiting to welcome and save you.. :) Our Petition.. Our Father, It is through our Sovereign mediator, Jesus the Christ, that we come before you.. We bring praise and solemn worship to you for your greatness.. Grant us always, the courage we need to endure all, and derive happiness from all.. With thanksgiving we ask, Amen.. May the Word of God find its way into your hearts.. And find a home there.. :)
