All-Terrain Electric Car by Alekseev Andrey Electric cars have yet to venture into the unpredictable world of off-roading — mainly due to the lack of charging points in the middle of nowhere. However, Russian designer Alekseev Andrey has come up with the Misha, an eco-electric car designed to keep a family going all the way through Siberia’s legendary winters. Comfort isn’t at the top of the priority list inside, with the interior cabin paired down to an absolute minimum, featuring little more than four seats and a console. Externally, however, things are bit more interesting. Misha’s massive ground clearance allows it to move through the deluge of snow that affects the region every year, and the oversized wheels come with retractable spikes so it can move over loose surfaces and steep hills with ease. On the off-chance you do become stranded — Alekseev appears to have ignored the recharging question — the two front seats swivel to face the rear two and a large circular panel can be turned into a TV or games console. While it may not be particularly comfortable, we’d take the Misha over any other four-by-four any day. The Misha’s chassis looks like it’s been folded in half to accommodate the rear seats. Huge ground clearance allows the Misha to move through deep snow drifts. - See more at: beyondblindfold/all-terrain-electric-car-by-alekseev-andrey.html#sthash.yhCvbRs7.dpuf -
