All, The next and most important Be-In Meeting of the summer will be: TOMORROW, SUNDAY, JULY 27TH AT 3 PM AT THE ROAST ON MAIN STREET IN PATCHOGUE. PLEASE BRING A FRIEND... Below is our plea - Thanks to a lack of support from venues, community radio stations, performers, Vendors, and, yes, volunteers, we are now in crisis mode... This is a plea to volunteers past and present: If we dont have new or returning volunteers by next month, August, this years Holiday Party in December will be the last Be-In event ever! So... Get off the fence and get involved, or this message board will become a moratorium, and then cease to exist, like the Riverhead Blues Yahoo! list. If you dont want to see that happen, you have exactly 4 weeks to prove it! So, come to the next meeting, reply to this message, write us at [email protected] or call Jessica if you wish to get involved as either a volunteer or Vendor. 12 by 8 Vending tables are cheap for our festival (Bring your own table and canopy): 7 1/2 hours of festival on Saturday, August 23rd at Painters Restaurant for $50 if youre business and $25 if youre a non-profit. Stage naming rights are also still available (Hang your banner over our stages!): $250 for the indoor/electric stage or just $100 for the outdoor/acoustic stage. Please help, or a 26 year long institution that provides you with quality entertainment at low cost, and supports well-deserved charities both at home and abroad, as well as supporting the arts, will be no more...
