Hi Animal loving friends! Sasha Brown, Liz Rich, Erin Callahan Bara and more... Throwing this out in the universe- My husbands family has a gorgeous yellow lab who is 3 years old, fixed, and a great dog. Hes always been an outside dog. Although hes never shown any behavior problems before, he got out of the yard last week and nipped two people (more like scratches). Because of this (local animal ordinances, etc), his parents have to rehome him by either giving him to the pound (complete last resort) or a rescue, another family, etc. His dad tried contacting Atlanta lab rescue, and a bunch of others, but they either wouldnt take Tucker because they dont take owner surrenders or dont want a dog who has nipped anyone. The pound told his dad that Tuck would only have a 30% chance of being adopted. Hes heart broken and I cant believe there isnt a solution to this! Do any of you guys have any ideas or avenues we havent explored? Im open to any ideas!
