All descendants of Nellie Viola (Smith) Thompson (1891 to 1947) & Charles B. Thompson (1892 to 1978) should have a copy of this recipe. Please share on timelines that may be involved. I was going through Judy Cain Thompsons (1949 to 2013) cookbook and found Johnny Bull Pudding recipe that was passed down to Judy from my mother Jeane C. Read Thompson (1920 to 1998). It was a Christmas tradition in my mother and fathers home (probably at least from 1938 until about 1975). . In addition, Judy and I made it for most of the first 30 years we were married. I havent found the sauce topping recipe card at this time. However, it was basically milk, corn starch, butter and cinnamon. Bring it to an most boil to thicker and served hot over the pudding. I have tagged people That I think should have a copy. Some I have tagged if they have children that are in the bloodline, even if you may not be I the bloodline yourself.
