All families are built - one relationship at a time. In bio - TopicsExpress

All families are built - one relationship at a time. In bio families, the family grows through the birthing process. In remarried families, when children from one or both spouses come into the remarriage, the family growth comes through intentional, consistent effort by each stepparent to bond with each new (step) child. If the bonding process is skipped or stopped, the family will remain fragmented. If we choose to not build a loving friendship with our spouses children (in much the same way we spent time and fell in love with our spouse), we will never fully love the heart of our spouse. Bio parent and child are one, and continue to be one after remarriage. Any attempt by a spouse to separate bio parent and child will backfire on the new spouse. Strife & resentment will manifest. Many Blessings! Moe & Paige
