All food system/health concerns aside...do you expect fast-food and other workers across the country to work for pittance while an extreme minority take home millions in salary? Dont be surprised the workers are putting up a fight - unions have been working to organize labor in the fast food industry prominently for at least a couple years now, and the movement is growing and spreading. theguardian/world/live/2014/sep/04/us-fast-food-protests-150-cities Im curious to see where this all goes ~ I watched an incredible documentary recently called The Hand That Feeds - check out the trailer here on workers organizing to not be treated like cheap, replaceable labor, but as bona fide people: thehandthatfeedsfilm/ This is about working toward achieving more equality, more humanity, a more sharing the plate attitude.
