All my life Ive observed this to be true. If youre applying for a job, along with many others, who do you think makes the best impression on the businessman? Any person dressed in rags, pants down over their ass, tattoos all over, messy hair, spools in their ears or a clean cut well groomed individual thats dressed nicely? Kids always say if they dont like me the way I am, then screw em. BUT, these kids ultimately ARE treated WORSE than the clean cut well groomed individual. If youre a complainer and want to be thought of poorly and treated WORSE than the other folks, then go for it. You might not get that job, you might get shot by the cops, you might get punched in the face or you just might be treated poorly. Increase your chances for respect by dressing the part.
