All my work this year for the Monster Holiday Shelter Drive has been done in loving memory of two very dear men. My neighbor, Mr. Dusty Rhodes, was a true animal lover. He cared for all the strays in our neighborhood and was a good friend to me. Dusty was a cat kind of guy but he loved and took responsibility for a lot of little furry critters. We miss him every day. This past week, we lost a very lovely man, Mr. David Marshall. David loved his dog Carla better than life itself. He and my mom shared a lot of FB laughs over animals. We were all better people for having known him. He always asked about me when he saw my mom. May they both rest in peace and know that we continue to work hard in their memory. I also want to thank each and every one of you that have donated and cheered me on. We did this together. Were making a difference and I say THANK YOU! Sending out much love and hugs to you guys!
