All of my comments and posts have been deleted on my end. Ive made my point to the few that saw them. Im not bailing on this group but will take a break from commenting and posting for a bit....On my way to a vacation from this group Ill leave you with my comment on what I think is in the works in general throughout this area. Its also a suggestion that individual energy can be very beneficial to the whole and to those that understand some things are simply what they are.....and will continue to evolve as such. Those things the common citizen simply can not change at certain levels. The ARM plan is a done deal. The political part of it, including the Democrats and Republicans, has recently undergone a schism that has moved all the major players into the appropriate chairs. This goes beyond the scope of Aberdeen alone and indeed, involves recent elections and party switches from major officials in Grays Harbor. The last piece of the puzzle is money. The following suggests how that money might be handled: Here is what I think: We were tipped off when the city decided to focus on a 3 pronged ideal which emphasizes the seaport, traffic, visitor center....so forth. I believe that the plans, in general, are a done deal. Oh, things could get tweaked a little here and there and down the line...but in general, its done. Over the next 5 and 10 years we can expect major changes IF....IF....IF they can finance it. That is a big IF......but if one studies the demographic, really studies it, the key will be financing rail, water, and air......including some revisions if not another airstrip. How do you finance it? Military budget. So what can we do? Use your energy to take care of yourself first. Be self sustainable and self reliant. When a person does that, the people follow by example and work together to grow in that small community of family and friends. BTW, I believe what I have written here in total.....100% ... and I know the common citizen will not have much of a choice in the matter. So, in some ways this post could be seen as moot.......but, it isnt moot if a couple people start to realize that all the wasted effort grumbling about what can not be changed was instead put into personal improvement. Then a person really has some mojo going.
