Who are the greeks, the romans and the gentiles ? A FB friend - TopicsExpress

Who are the greeks, the romans and the gentiles ? A FB friend asked me about other nations being saved they said they didnt understand. So i proceeded to explain it to them and ending up with a very long list of scriptures and precepts: so i decided to share with the rest of you who may lack understanding as well. It is important to know that salvation is only for israel and no other nation because if we spend our time trying to reach out to other nations, that is time wasted that could have been used reaching out to the elect: The break down is long but this is not an easy topic or short to explain but it clears up all the miss conceptions. Like N share accordingly. Only israel can be saved: how and why; a short but complete breakdown For us to understand why only israel can be save we have to go to the promise made to abraham: the creator said to abraham that i will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee: Genesis 12:3 When we read psalms chapter 83 we see that all the nations came together to cut off the nation of israel but he chose israel to be above all nations therefore the other nations ended up falling into the curse and have been cut off: The most high is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent : Numbers 23:19 so when he said he will curse them that curse thee he meant what he said and established it. He chose israel to be above all the nations: Deuteronomy 7:6 6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The blessing of the first born went to israel because, noahs 3 sons shem ham and japheth israel came from shem so this is why they got the blessing,. Remember through scripture we always see the first fruit blessing and the first born child being blessing etc: israel was his first born son because israel came from shem who is the first son of noah shem, ham, japheth Exodus 4:22 King James Version (KJV) 22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: So now that we have explained that part through scriptures lets now prove that through out the old testament the father only dealt with israel and so to his son when he came in the new testament: Psalm 147:19-20 19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord. Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: Amos 3:1-2 Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities The commandment were only given to isreal to follow not to the other nations: Exodus 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you. Deuteronomy 14:21 Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mothers milk. now when we get into the new testament people get confused and lost because they say well at first he only dealt with israel but now he is dealing with everyone. This cannot be true because the father does not change. Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. The miss understanding is the terms / use of grafting in and the adoption. Lets get understanding that it was israel that would be grafted in and israel who pertaineth the adoption. What people do not understand is that within israel there was a division because of war and the kingdom of israel split into two: the house of judah and the house of israel(ephraim was the head) 2 Samuel 3:1 Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker. Now ephraim went and committed many whoredoms but judah remained faithful in the truth Hosea 11:12 Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints. (remember and understand that ephraim was on of the 12 tribes of israel) Hosea 5:3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled. Now that we have proven that ephraim had cause israel to be defiled we can better understand the new testament. Again the father made a promise to abraham isacc and jacob and he will not turn from it so even though ephraim committed whoredoms he still made a way for them to return to the truth within the new covenant/testament ……… Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Again scripture has proven that the new covenant was still for israel. it does not say with all the nations of the earth but it is with israel, and with judah. The two kingdoms that have split. Also understand that the house of ephraim was not keeping the commandment and this is why in the new testament there were complains about jews keeping company with men who were not circumcised / keepers of the law. Acts 11:2-3 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them. The men that were not of the circumcision were still israelites from the house of ephraim who were not keeping the law as we already proved through scriptures. In addition later on in the same chapter we see they still only preached to israel: Acts 11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. The messiah also came to seek and to save that which was lost. That which was lost is talking about the lost sheep of israel. Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Again he is only speaking to israel: Mark 12:29 And Iyshiah answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord John 18:20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing Repentance is to all the people of israel only. Acts 13:24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. (to all israel not to other nations as many suggest) He is a prince and a savior to israel and offers to them repentance of sins not to the entire world but only to israel: Acts 5:31 31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. To the 12 tribes of israel and not to anyone else: 1 Peter 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. Now let us break down what it is to be grafted in: Romans 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. The verse states that they can be grafted in AGAIN it is not possible that this is talking about the other nations because they were never in so how could they return or be grafted in again? again means to return and you cannot return to someplace if you were never there. It is referring to Israelites(house of ephraim) that went whoring and were not keeping the commandments, we read about this earlier. Remember the father would not cut these people off because of his promise to abrahams seed not just of the flesh but of the faith. Therefore he made a way for them to come back to the truth via the new covenant. The adoption is only for israel in the flesh, again the people that left the truth and are now going to return. Romans 9:3-4 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; Now some say that gentiles can be saved but they do not understand what a gentile is: The gentiles the scriptures are talking about again are the nations that left the truth. Gentile is mainly used as a location and not people: the bible does not give the genealogy of the gentiles nor does it give a genealogy of the romans or the greek. This concept is man made, rome was a place where israelites were living. Let us prove that romans in the bible were actually israelites. Acts 22:25 And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said unto the centurion that stood by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman, and uncondemned? Paul says he is a roman but we know that paul is a israelite from the tribe of benjamin: Philippians 3:4-5 4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; This is proof that being a roman is talking about a city or citizenship and not a physical genealogy. Lets break down the scripture that says Jew first then to the gentiles Romans 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Now when we read the above verses line by line we will understand it. If salvation was to everyone the part where the scripture says in romans 1:16 to every one that believeth then the scripture would end there. Everyone that believes would include every nation but it goes into detail and says to the jew first and also to the greek It is evident again as we read earlier it is referring to the tribe that remained faithful (house of judah) and then to the other israelites that did not (house of ephraim). There is no scripture that gives the father of the greeks (genealogy) because greek was a location and not a nation of people based on scripture. Mankind has now labeled it as persons. Even if person take this verse out of context it still does not say everyone can be saved. It only list two categories jews and greek not every nation. Now romans 2:10 does the same thing is breaks down and say everyone that work good again if it meant all nations that would be the end of the scripture but it tells you the jew first then to the gentiles. The other nations of israel. Lets get one more passage that people confuse: Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. This verse is talking about the unification of the 12 tribes. We are no longer divided but we are one in christ because he is the head of every man 1 corinthians 11:3. We have no high priest but him hebrews 7:27. Again the verse goes back to understanding the greeks, romans and jews were all israelites. Many take this verse to mean everybody but if we take the verse literal then that would mean that only jews and greeks can be saved because it does not mention any other nation of people. If it meant everyone can be saved it would have said so. It would have said there is neither jew nor heathen because heathens are the other nations but it only mentions jew (judah) and greek (ephraim) Another reason this verse is not literal is because it says there is neither male nor female now we know that man and women or male and females exit. It therefore makes not sense for this verse to literally mean it does not have males or females in the earth. It is talking about us being one in spirit and in body (1 Corinthians 12:12). Anyone that cannot see this truth, can be silenced. Just ask them to show you the lineage of the romans, the gentiles or the greeks in scripture if they are actual nations of people they could show you but since they are not nations but lands that were inhabited by israelites, they cannot provide a lineage. Which reminds me of another example: the samaritan woman. She was also an israelite by blood who left the righteous side and was not keeping the commandments. The jews had no dealing with the house of ephraim. Let us prove this: John 4:9-12 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?12 Art thou greater than OUR FATHER JACOB, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? (jacob who is the father of the twelve tribes of israel was not only the israelites father but also this womans father, the reason for that is because she too was an israelite) Samaria is the name of a hill that was purchased not a lineage of people this is why the lady said our father jacob because her actual lineage goes back to jacob. 1 Kings 16:24 And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria. Isaiah 7:9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria (israelites), and the head of Samaria (israelites) is Remaliahs (israelites) son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established. I think that last line in the last verse is a perfect way to end this break down: IF ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established
