All of us run into this power struggle with God because we feel like true freedom means we must be in charge of our actions and our destiny. We say, “God has His say on Sunday, but what I do the rest of the week is my own business.” But Jesus says, “I have been given all authority over every spiritual and physical aspect of life. I am in control of your destiny.” Real freedom trades “I can do whatever I want” for “God can do whatever he wants with me.”
