Fun Fact Tuesday: 1. Jane Fonda and I share an alma mater, Emma Willard School, and she was the commencement speaker for my friends in the class of 89. 2. Before there was Ross the Intern on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, there was Ross Von Metzke, the intern at YM Magazine. I was the entertainment editor there, the summer Ross interned. Although we have been friends ever since, it still shocks me to realize hes turning 35 today. (Ill leave him to out himself about his age back then, since he was a little younger than he was supposed to be for the internship. ). We should all be as thoughtful, fun-loving and kind as Ross. Or at least one-tenth as much—for that would make the world better by a much larger factor. (Math aint my strong suit, but you get the idea). And, like Jane Fonda, hes very, very, very...FIT. Ross, you can thank my friend Nancy Sherman, who directed some of the TV you watched as a kid, for your birthday song, since she posted it on my wall, last night.
