Leaving morality completely out of the discussion as much as the first question I pose permits, and only opining on the questions raised here and on the issues that the article highlights, I submit the following questions for debate: *Do you agree or disagree with these occupations being legal and protected under the law? Why/why not? **Are these women, and men who do similar work, contractors or employees? Why/why not? ***Should they belong to/form a union as others in their field have done? Why/why not? ****If you are a union member, would you advocate your union supporting any union that these workers join/form? Why/why not? *****Do you agree with their right to do so? If so, why? If not, why? ******Does their lawsuit have merit or not? *******Will they win or lose? In either case, why/why not?
