The saddest part of politics whether national, local or organizational is that most folks make their assumptions and pick a side regardless of whether there may be valid concerns and reasons coming from the opposite side. Even if the arguments or ideas coming from an opposing position are valid they are discounted as ridiculous or unworthy. At that point who is really in the weaker position intellectually, morally, or ethically.
