All the customers of LPG are requested to get the Aadhaarenrolment got done immediately so that they should not losethe subsidy on LPG STATE NEWS 6th JAN 2015Commissioner of Civil Supplies informed that in the lastmeeting held on 20th December, 2014 it was brought to the notice ofthe Collectors to hold meeting of the Controlling Officers of Banksand LPG Dealers to ensure that there is proper awareness is createdamong the customers of LPG to get their Aadhaar numbers seededat the LPG dealer level and the Banks. He has also mentioned that under any circumstances thereshould not be any inconvenience to the LPG customers. He wanted the Oil Companies and Bank level officials to givewide publicity and display the posters/banners provided by theOil Companies. Customers who have not so far enrolled under Aadhaar shouldbe motivated to enrol themselves immediately and for this purpose adequate number of Permanent Enrollment centreshave been opened in the districts. The LPG Dealers will exhibit such centres list at their dealerpremises. He also advised the Banks and the Oil Companiesthat they should inform the non-Aadhaar customers that theyshould get subsidy transferred to their accounts till 31st March,2015 without Aadhaar seeding. After 1st April, 2015 three months more time will be given asParking period during which period the customers should gettheir names enrolled under Aadhaar. However, during this period, the customer has to pay the non-domestic rate to the dealer but he would not get the subsidyinto his account until his Aadhaar enrolment is completed. But, the subsidy will be kept with the Dealers as Parking fundand if the Aadhaar number is not seeded this amount will notbe paid after 1st July, 2015. Hence the Oil Companies, dealers and Bankers should immediately give proper publicity for the benefit of thecustomers. He reiterated that under no circumstances shouldthere be any denial to the genuine customer if his Aadhaar isseeded. Oil Dealers, Oil Companies and Bankers have raised certainissues in seeding the Aadhaar accounts. They have been toldto sort out these issues and that there should not be anyinconvenience to the customers in respect of those whoseAadhaar numbers are available and enrolled already and forthose who have to enrol before 30th June, 2015. All the Bankers, Oil Companies representatives, LPG dealershave assured that they would not give any scope in thismatter. They would wide publicity in the matter.
