All the night I trembled and quivered In pain, unbearable even then went on calling you To be my side. When my wings caught fire And I was fiercely burning But being a bird of my fate I kept on flying to You. Hey, where is your hand to soothe Hey ,where your lips to suck my pain My uneven breaths and heart beats Shaking me like a leaf in a wild storm. The silent dark of night looks aghast The flame of candle trembles to see me No other with me , no other with me but pain No other with me but trembling wind To touch me and feel my shivers and burning Where from pain has come to tread me down Where from hands came to throttle me Hands i thought are mine Hands I cared with love to care and soothe me When I felt weak and humbled and stumbled. Where from rain has come to drench me Where from waves of thundering pain come Silence around me has become my soothing balm The quivers and trembles of flickering Of candle light is breathing along me Its still burning to save me from dark and pain of night The pain with me ,in me,around me The suffering with me ,in me , around me With mist in my eyes asking myself To see, to watch and bear the hand of Time.
