All this talk of football, college had me stressed out thinking college college college for Bradley! Then I thought geez, weve watched our kids grow up here now to middle school for me and so I was thinkin we talk colleges or college or I can just talk about mine lol. Its time to look at the OPTIONS! I will share some facts about my Alma Mater, a private university; While I attended and for SIX CONSECUTIVE years, Linfield was named the No. 1 college in the western region by US News & World Report and by The Princeton Review as one of the Best Colleges in the Western Region . AN AMAZING 93 PERCENT of Linfield professors have the highest degree in their field (my CSC professor was wicked smart). HISTORY: The Baptist College at McMinnville was chartered in 1858 by the Oregon Territorial Legislature, the Adams Group broke off to McMinnville to form a Christian School as it did and later became McMinnville College before acquiring its current name in 1922 - Linfield College after Baptist minister, the Rev. George Fisher Linfield. Interesting history, it is rumored the Baptist group purchased the land to eventually acquire what was to be there school in 1857, Linfield was founded in 1849. I wanted to be an Oregon Duck however they do not have a Comp Science program and I did not even know! Introduced to Linfield and its Unreal CSC program I Was SOLD. Look at the below posts to witness its excellent ATHLETICS Program Football and Baseball, Tennis etc. (Linfield amazingly won the 2004 Divison III Championship in Baseball as well as Football)! I recommend looking at Linfield College as it is also nestled close to home here in Sonoma, it is beautiful all brick campus (even the football stadium) near the Oregon Coast - Coos Bay and its Wine Country in McMinnville, Oregon.
