All true. ....l would pack 2 bologna sandwiches grab my fishin pole and /or BB gun get on my bike and go to the to a couple of small areas of water underneath some highway bridges. If the fish wasnt biting we would go by the dump grounds and shoot some black birds.There were usually 3 of us guys all on bikes probably gone from 9 in the morning until about 5....we were 10 and 11 year olds....Back then you learned early to take care of yourself. ...good times!
