All weekend I was just befuddled. I couldn’t understand why the attorney said she would help, “because I like you, and wouldn’t leave anyone just flapping in the breeze.” So why the 360?? Something was up? From bullying me about “if you say that one more time you’re fired”, If you say that name one more time, your fired” if you say his name one more time, your fired”. Then asking about login information 3 times in 2 weeks? My husband and I talked about it, and he was beside himself, he did not understand how someone can change overnight, or in the blink of an eye. The sad part was that there was no change really, it is the behavior I have endured for many years, it just now started to make sense that I was dumb enough to get sucked into another Narcissist relationship, where my emotions were being sucked out with a straw each day little by little. Promises and promises that could put you on cloud 9, only to follow it up with a demeaning remark, to crush your self-esteem, rob you of yourself worth, so bad that would drop you out of the sky on your face so hard you could not breath, the build you up to tear you down. All the while living off your energy, stealing it from you, taking every attribute you have that they don’t and figuring out how to use it, and use it against you. Bringing you in to their web, so they can get you to trust them with all of your “gifts” and connections, use them, take the credit for themselves, and discard you in a heap on the floor like a dirty wet wash rag. I just could not understand why I was being treated this way, I did not put a gun to anyone’s head, I asked for a favor from who I thought was a friend, not just an employer……My mistake, I know what you are thinking, friendship and business do not mix. Well after all of this and what is still to come, I totally agree with you, and I will never make that mistake again, guaranteed!
