Allah SWT gave me a second chance in life. Today marks the 1 - TopicsExpress

Allah SWT gave me a second chance in life. Today marks the 1 year of my brain hemmorage. I remember it was a normal day and all of a sudden I had the most terrible headache. After about 30mins I was in the hospital and when I woke up it was 2 days later. My hands and feet were tied, I had oxygen over my nose, two small machines or things in each of my leg that kept vibrating/moving to keep the blood circulation going, and a big pipe inside my throat to keep me alive. I had so much bruises in my arms from IVs and injections that kept checking my blood for sodium levels, and I had to take so much medicine, and even steroids because the regular pain killers didnt work for me. For the next month and half I couldnt see, walk, eat or sleep properly, I was in extreme pain, and had constant migraines. It was the first Ramadan I couldnt fast, it took me 8-10months to fully recover, and the doctors never figured what caused the bleeding. But I was alive! Allah SWT had given me a 2nd chance to live and blessed me each and everyday to recover and have good health. If Allah wanted to, He could have taken my life the moment I was in coma, and I wouldnt be able to see my family again or to seek His forgiveness, but He still kept me alive! I can never be able to thank Allah SWT no matter how much I try. And I can also never repay my mom or my family for all they did. People in the graves wish to be alive just to live a righteous live and to ask for Allahs Mercy and repent, but Allah SWT gave that chance to me! Gave me a chance to be thankful, to become a better Muslima, and to repent and ask for Allahs forgiveness. Dont let a trauma happen to you so you can realize all these, but let my story be an example to all of us. We are not guaranteed tomorrow, and every day we wake up, we need to thank Allah for giving us another day to live and another chance to repent and seek His forgiveness!
