Allah as the Divine Form, the Man of Light, is called Muhammad When Divine form cloaks itself in matter, it is called Adam. Adam - masc. proper name, Biblical name of the first man, from Hebrew adam man, literally (the one formed from the) ground (Hebrew adamah ground); cf. Latin homo man, humanus human, humus earth, ground, soil. To not know (someone) from Adamnot know him at all is first recorded 1784. Cloak-late 13c., long, loose outer garment, from Old North French cloque (Old French cloche, cloke) travelling cloak, from Medieval Latin clocca travelers cape, literally a bell, so called from the garments bell-like shape (the word is thus a doublet of clock(n.1)). An article of everyday wear in England through 16c., somewhat revived 19c. as a fashion garment. Cloak-and-dagger (adj.) attested from 1848, said to be ultimately translating French de cape et dépée, suggestive of stealthy violence and intrigue. This process is symbolically described in The Holy Qur’an. Symbolically-1650s, from symbol + -ic, or from Greek symbolikos. Related: Symbolical (c.1600); symbolically. Symbol-. a thing that represents or stands for something else, esp. a material object representing something abstract. The limousine was another symbol of his wealth and authority synonyms: emblem, token, sign, representation, figure, image; There are three different accounts of the creation of Adam that will concern us and they each reveal an important detail. The first mention of the formation of Adam is in 2:30 of the Holy Qur’an. In the Quranic verse(s), the word translated as “ruler” is often translated as “vicegerent.” However, neither translation captures the true meaning of the Arabic word here used. The word Khalifa, according to Maulana Muhammad Ali, comes from Khalafa which means “he came after or succeeded another that has perished or died.” ( Maulana Muhammad Ali translation of The Holy Qur’an). The One that Adam succeeded is Allah. (No one else existed before this Adam emphasis mine). How is it said that Allah perished or died? (The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us that only the flesh dies but one is deputized in place of the one who dies physically such as taken the office of presidency, when one president’s term is up, another stands in his place, emphasis mine) Prior to Adam, Allah existed as the Divine form-man of light with no material body (rudimentary intelligence). Adam represents (symbolizes) Allah in His material state (i.e. flesh and bone, emphasis mine). Once Allah’s body materializes in Adam (incarnate), He no longer exist as the Divine form. (As seen in free moving force, energy encapsulated in matter checks it and thwarts it, making it less forceful, and emphasis mine). (In symbolic terms, this materialization is called falling from heaven, heaven being the Divine form or luminous state, emphasis mine). The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad stated that Allah taught him that we (physically) were created from an atom of the earth. It (Divine form) exist as the inner man, light wrapped in a black body. 2 Corinthians 4:16 “Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.” Ephesians 3:16 “That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,” It exist as the inner Man of this Adam, but has NO INDEPENDANT existence. This is why the word used here for man is insan. According to Ibn Arabi, one of the greatest Sufi scholars, this word insan has the meaning of ‘pupil’ as well as ‘man’. Furthermore, (he deserves to be named Man – insan – because) he (Adam) is to God as the pupil (insan) is to the eye as the instrument of Vision, i.e. seeing. Thus he is called insan because god (The Divine Form) beheld His creatures through Man, and had Mercy upon them. The Divine Form wrapped itself in a material cloak and viewed the world through the material eyes of this material cloak. (Philippians 2:13 King James Version (KJV) 13 For it is God which worketh **in you** both to will and to do of his good pleasure. “Yahweh is not pure spirit, for His spirit, like his word, is the agency of His activity”—The Truth of God, By Dr. Wesley Muhammad Holy Qur’an 8:17 “So you slew them not but Allah slew them, and thou smotest not when thou did smite (the enemy), but Allah smote (him), and that He might confer upon the believers a benefit from himself. Surely Allah is hearing, knowing. Thus Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said, “Allah created Adam in His Form.” This Adam represents the sum total of all the names of Allah. This is why it is said in verse 31, “And He taught Adam all the names.” According to Ibn Arabi, this means Adam “actualizes all Divine Names.” The second narrative we will look at in the Qur’an treating Adam’s creation is in Sura (Chapter) 15:28. Sahih International 28) And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, I will create a human being out of [sounding] clay from an altered black mud. 29) And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration. 30) So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely, 31) Except Iblis, he refused to be with those who prostrated. 32) [Allah ] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate? 33) He said, Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud. Here Adam is described as being made from “black mud (hama) fashioned into shape.” (15:26) After being made “complete’, ALLAH “breathed into him of my Spirit.” This black mud represents the primordial material darkness mixed with the primordial waters from which ALLAH created Himself. This is the black material that Allah adorned. In Ibn Abu Layth’s tenth century collection of Ibn Abba’s Traditions, this “Black mud” is described as “flesh, blood, veins and sinews.” This is why the angels and everything in the earth are ordered to “make obedience (sajada)” to this Black Adam, while at the same time the Qur’an says: “And to Allah makes obeisance every living creature that is in the heavens and earth, and the angels too (6:49).” And also: “whoever is in the heavens and the earth makes obeisance to Allah ONLY, willingly or unwillingly (13:15).” This again is a picture of Allah’s Self-Creation out of Triple Darkness 76 trillion years ago. The Final Narrative is Sura 38:71-88. The important detail here in verse 75. After Iblis refused to make obesisance to this Black Adam like the rest of The Angels, Allah says: “O Iblis, what prevented thee from submitting to him whom I have created with BOTH MY HANDS?” According to esoteric Islam, the “two hands” of Allah by Which Adam was created represents the Spiritual and material nature of adam/God.
