Alleged stolen mountain bike recovered and charges laid - Cronulla/Sutherland Sutherland Police have charged a male with property offences after an alleged stolen bike from 2013 was recovered in Sutherland recently. Around Christmas in 2013, a Trek brand mountain bike was allegedly stolen from a Cronulla address. Police allege in April 2014, the victim saw their bike in a business in Sutherland. Police were notified and an investigation commenced. Sutherland Police have charged a 32 year old Marrickville male with goods in custody and furnish false information to licensee. Sutherland Police are reminding all bike owners to record all serial numbers for possible investigations and tracking down of stolen items.
