Allie came back from her official orientation. We finished moving me OUT of my truck and moved her into HER now-truck. Had dinner at the house, lots of laughs and a little official business stuff. She took the truck 8 miles up the road to the truck stop so she could settle in to her new office/home. Will go up and meet her in the mor ing, then were off on her first official flatbed (skateboard) run. Shell do most of the driving and things to do with the load; am only along to advise for a couple weeks. Was a very surreal moment seeing the truck Ive driven for 5+ years leaving my driveway w/o me in it. Im VERY PROUD of her and how hard shes worked to get thru the past 12 days: tarps, chains, sore muscles, dirt, and so much more! Am also very proud to be working with such a close friend.
