Allies for Alley Catz alliesforalleycatz/ We have been doing this for about 3 years. Phil White and myself Donna Coughlan run Allies for Alley Catz rescue, spay/neuter/ adopt or release. Samantha Rose Kraemer and her mom Jean Robinson foster for us and I think they also foster for someone else. We are over full in our home and our foster families cannot take in anymore for us, until we adopt more out. There is an adoption fee and that is so we know that there is commintment to care for the cat or kitten chosen for its lifetime. We have a website below, and we have a facebook page for Allies for Alley Catz. We appreciate all the fundraising efforts of Sammantha and her mom Jean. We always need help towards Vet bills, food, ( we choose healthy high grade food), litter. Our cats and kittens are in our home where they recieve much love and affection. They come when called by name and many purr on pick up. We are not ever afraid to have anyone make an appointment to come and view the cats or kittens here as we are proud of our set up. Phil White built a beautiful cat enclosure, which included our large wrap around deck , then 5 feet out from that is a 10 ft. high enclosure attached with running boards, hammocks, shelter, and this summer because of a kind donation we were able to put a floor in the ground section with beautiful interlocking bricks. Inside we have many cat trees to play upon as cats need and want to be up high. We vet them and get shots regularly to ensure they are as healthy as they can be. We work all day at our jobs and we come home to clean litter, feed , cuddle and take care of the cats and our cute puppy Gypsy. We have many cats and kittens and most get along extremely well ... they are like family. We are always are so pleased for our cats when someone comes along who will love them as much or more than we do. We just adopted out Bella who was with us for 11 months... and we miss her but are so happy she found her forever home. We are working hard and appreciate all donations and help. We cannot do this without help from our community and our municipality. We are working on a plan to reduce cat population and suffering in our area... which when we feel is ready, we will submit to our municipality. We all need to work together to reduce the masses of cats and kittens out there who deserve better. The first step is to spay/neuter our own pets... the second step is to work with other to reduce the populations through spay/neuter/release programs in areas that need it. We want you to know that we are doing our best here, however, there is much more that needs to be done. Thank you all for your caring support. We would have no chance without support of the community.
