Almond Milk Soak 1 cup of raw almonds in enough water to cover them for at least 8 but no more than 48 hours. After soaking, drain the water and put almonds in blender. Add 4 cups of water. Blend thoroughly. Then strain through a nut-milk bag into a bowl. You can buy the bags pretty cheap. I got mine from Amazon. Pour it into a pitcher and chill. Done. If you want to add a bit of flavor before blending, add a teaspoon of vanilla and 1 pitted date. If you like it sweeter, add more dates to taste. Enjoy. :)
