Almost 2 tons (4372.5 pounds) and 197 CHRISTMAS GIFT BOXES later, our driver and truck arrived safely at Air Inuit, Montreal. These will be delivered to the communities of Sanikiluaq, Umiujaq, Inukjuak, and Tasiujaq! Dagny Langer, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all that you do!! Thanks to the Inuit Outreach Project Committee for bringing forth all of your talents to make this shipment another resounding success! Thanks to all the volunteers from the Halton Hills Anglican Cluster, with a special mention to Laurie (Mascarin) for your continued support crafting baby quilts and George (English) for always being ready to drive a truck! Thanks Lucy (Inukpuk) for being our go to with Makivik, the Inuit Communities and us! Thanks Bethel for your tremendous support through your donation drive and the loan of the drivers and truck! Also thank you for leading the sorting and packing for the Aboriginal Youth Group, Fergus! Thanks Jack (Frimeth) and the Aboriginal Youth Group, Fergus for making the trek Saturday morning to deliver the donations from their drive! Thanks Anita (Bergsma) from Chance to Play for organizing and outfitting 22 soccer youth in Sanikiluaq! Thanks Bea (Henderson), Project Linus, Kitchener, for your box of security blankets! Thanks Effie (Ida) and the St. Georges Anglican Church Knitting Group, Kitchener for the 100s of knitted toques! Thanks Greta Camman and the Hall Road Seniors Knitters Group, Georgetown for the wealth of crocheted and knitted items!
