And renewed pleas for your generous assistance so we may celebrate and honor Hillcrests best neighbor---Balboa Park. The rumors of our death were surely exaggerated. And we are actually making some progress with the City. Should have some much better news to report early in January. Good news: I believe we have pressured the City to finally accept date and venue reservation fees at that time without the unique Catch 22 applied to us only of having insurance paid for and issued [in unknown amounts for unknown dates and venues] before we can even reserve a date. Bad News: We will probably have to pay multiple fees for several different event dates, and pay for multiple liability insurance policies, one for each separate event date. So again, we need your generous assistance and that of your kind fiends. Venue fees for 6 hours in The Organ Pavilion venue alone can be $500. Plus liability insurance premiums, staging costs, etc. The City will of course be of NO assistance, so it is up to us to make these events a success.
