Almost two and a half weeks ago we set out on a new adventure - our new normal. We hit the road to raise funds to go to and raise awareness of the need in Madagascar. Now 17 days and 12 states later we are more convinced than ever of the direction The Lord is taking our family. It has been incredible to share the sites of America with our kids and to share our burden with the awesome churches we have been in. We finished a great missions conference in Denver City, TX on Sunday. This church is a small congregation in the heart of oil country, but they have a huge heart for missions. We will be praying for the Lords continued blessing to them all. After we left there, we went to Fort Sumner, NM where we saw the gravesite of Billy the Kid and we camped at Sumner Lake State Park on the bank of the Pecos River. It was a stunning view to wake up to. We had the last watermelon of the season for breakfast. It was a Texas watermelon, so you know it was delicious! Then we packed up camp and headed to Colorado Springs where we stayed with Phils middle School pastor, Randy Unruh. They live in a beautiful home on Pikes Peak. When we left there, we went to Garden of the Gods. Talk about a picture of Gods handy work! God is incredible and keeps showing us His protection and His provision. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us!
