Alot of people like to talk about the verse where Jesus said,"Do not judge, do not condemn." And they only seem to get on the judge part and then of course there is a debate along the way on what is judging. But I look at the word condemn more, because we who are in Christ are suppose to have no more condemnation. However we are full of condemnation, mostly because of our own guilt but also a lot of the condemnation in us is from what we hear from others. Do not judge, do not condemn, is a command of Jesus to us. So, what does condemn mean exactly? Glad you asked. Condemn means to express strong disapproval, to declare or judge unfit, to prove or demonstrate the guilt of someone, to find fault with. Here is a few synonyms censure, criticize, denounce, revile, blame, chastise, berate, reprimand, rebuke, and reprove.. Just a little food for thought on how much you might be condemning people in stead of loving them, which is the law of Christ, to love everyone like Christ loves you.. Unconditionally!!!
