Alot of times i always think of buying a 7 string guitar. This way i can play in a lower tuning and have the high ranges for soloing. BUT, theres still something to try first, and thats buying lower gauge strings to tune down to B. This way the strings have a better tension feel instead of the strings feeling Wobbly, and i heard the Bass response sounds better. Im thinking of thickening the gauge and tuning down my Gibson Les Paul, im assuming i have to get the intonation setup for that tuning, ill just go ahead and buy the strings and put them on there and see how it plays tomorrow hopefully. So with tuning down my Gibson, i MIGHT NOT buy a 7 string actually!!! Hopefully in the future, being successful in the Music Biz, ill probably own a 7 from all the money haha So right now, after listening to David Maxim Micic, ive been messing around with a bunch of nice Djenty riffs with the with this lower B tuning and its getting me inspired to write new stuff.
