Already booking conventions and events for 2015. Saying that Im excited and thankful for everything is a complete understatement. While Im on the subject I get asked alot about how someone can become a professional and get booked for cons. I honestly dont have definitive answer for that. You just need to put yourself out there. Furthermore I personally dont at all consider myself as a professional. If other people do then ok but I wont call myself that. Im just a big hearted guy thats armed with fabric, foam and an airbrush that has a passion for making stuff and putting tights on who occasionally acts and is very social. I dont use the most expensive or best quality materials. I dont have the money to commission from amazing prop and costume makers. I dont have the clout to get discounts on them either. Theres nothing that makes me special. Ive said it before, I dont even think my costumes are all that. They work and Im extremely proud of them but.... To me I think your personality and overall attitude out weighs the quality of your costumes. I think above all thats my ticket in. So remember, regardless of the quality of your costumes. $20 in it or $200. Homemade or Commissioned. Your attitude is the difference maker It can either shine a brighter light on you and your cosplays or cloud you both in poopie darkness. Choose wisely.
