Alright I am a bit late for this, but couple of things I realized this Eid, 1) Today I went to Eid prayer alone at 7:30 am one because I had a midterm at 9:30 am(yeah ikr it sucks and I did go wearing shalwar kameez :3 ), after eid it was the weirdest feeling ever that I had no one around me to say Eid Mubarak; I mean there were so many people; all were my brothers and sisters in Islam, yet nobody. Though, it was just for couple of hours; I could go home and celebrate Eid with family... But that time I realized what converts at times go through, they at point go to Eid prayer and go home, guys its not a big deal if we invite converts to our houses; infact you would only get hasanaat; remember all Palestinians, Egyptians, Pakistanis, Jordanians, and more or less all the nations; your forefathers were converts too and did the born or earlier Muslims treated your forefathers like you do to the converts? If not then there is a need of change.... 2) Seriously with all this, I still see people try to split the community; everyone agreed that there would be eid on Monday, yet there were people who tried to push it to Tuesday by saying oh the moon wasnt sighted cuz our people didnt say it that its sighted. Seriously whats wrong with us, how badly we are divided. You see whats happening in Palestine, Kashmir, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Burma,Bahrain. Most of the time its because we are soo disunited, look around us... All the anti Islam elements now dont even have to send armies to kill; but just fund the divided Ummah.... We are divided so badly that at some places Sunnis are oppressors and at others places Sunnis are oppressed, at some places Shias are oppressors and at others Shias are oppressed..... And this is not the only difference, then we have ethnic, cultural, language, regional, national differences; we are just soo badly divided that now there is no need of funding anymore, all there is a fitna guy stands up and we fight like crazy.... This gotta stop, I am not saying to end differences, but lets put differences aside for a while. Our religion always taught so much to actually have differences of opinion, but lets have respect for each other if not their opinions...... 3) Saw on news that some mob killed and burned house of an Ahmadi, and the saddest thing is that there were people CELEBRATING it, I mean how screwed up it could be. When I saw Israelis celebrating the bombing of Gaza, that hurt us so much; and even after that we Muslims are doing the same with others? Sure I get it that you dont like Ahmadiyyah and sure I agree that Prophet Muhammad(Sallala Hu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wassalam) is the last Messenger, but does that mean we kill anyone who disagrees with us and worst celebrate it? Then whats the difference between those who were celebrating the bombing of Gaza and us.... They can say oh we are celebrating the killing of those who believe in false Prophet *Nauzubillah* Nobody is saying to doubt your faith and start believing in Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani, infact debate with them discuss with them while PROTECTING their properties, houses, lives as they are your dhimmi i.e. responsibility...... Definitely this act is condemnable and I hope government of Pakistan give the worst kind of punishment to the mobs and hope the family of the victim is patient(Ameen) And this goes for all minorities living under Muslims, they should be treated great; this is what Prophet Muhammad(Sallala Hu Alayhi Hi Wa Aalihi Wassalam) taught, I think itd be wrong to go against His(SAWS)s teachings for His(SAWS)s love. Be it Christians in Arabia, Hindus in Kashmir or Ahmadis in Pakistan..... 4) This is eid, lets not make it a Welcome Shaytaan Party..... So many people miss their Salah, people just go crazy and miss prayers and what not.... Dont give shaytaan happiness that while entire Ummah is ruined, we still continue to struggle with basic deen.... May God keep us constant in good actions(Ameen)
