Alright, I got a theory about whats actually happening in LAD. I shared this with one of my friends and they seem to think Im on to something, please tell me what you all think! What if the man behind everything that happened today is none other than Tony Almeida? Lets think about it here - Tony used to date Nina Myers. Its possible that Nina recruited him back when they were dating and thats when Tony switched sides, loooong before season 7. And ever since the love of Tonys life was killed, he has sought revenge. I know what youre thinking... Michelle Dessler. No... NINA MYERS. Jack Bauer murdered her, and since then Tony has done everything to make Jacks life a living hell. I mean think about it, the fact that Tony let Michelle walk to the car alone that just HAPPENED to have a bomb in it is a little suspicious. No gentleman would allow their wife to walk to the car alone. I know I dont. So I think maybe Tony was behind the hit on Michelle? And then to make it look real he allowed himself to be injured in the blast, knowing he wouldnt die. He was probably using Michelle from the start of their marriage, all the while plotting his revenge on Jack for killing Nina. It makes sense. But Tony knew he needed some time to plot out his revenge on Jack. Truth be told he actually admires Jack, even though he hates him. Tony helped Jack fake his death (season 4) because he needed his trust, but then he realized how genius that plan actually is. So Tony faked his death by ordering Christopher Henderson to intentionally miss THE ARTERY... which he did! We all know Henderson missed the artery, you know, that one artery so Tony could survive. I bet Tony even know about Logan, maybe helped him plan everything? Not sure about that, but THIS I am sure about. Tony and Henderson were working together. Watch season 5 again and look at the way Tony acts towards Henderson. He doesnt hate him, Henderson WORKS FOR Tony!! I know some of you are probably thinking about how Tony saved Jacks life and what not... Well yeah! He wanted to keep Jack alive as long as he could while he plotted his revenge against him! Killing Jack is not enough, he needs to take everything away from him. So he came out of the darkness in season 7 to finally reveal his true self, but he did not want to kill Jack just yet. Instead Tony recruited...wait for it...James Heller. So that Jack would see Tony head off to prison, but this was planned by Heller and Tony. Remember Heller wants revenge on Jack as well because he hurt Audrey. So Tony was arrested and then immediately after Heller pardons him, but Jack has no idea about it! So Tony will return in Live Another Day and we will finally learn that he has been responsible for almost every bad thing that has happened on 24. He is the main villain. I bet Mark Boudreau is also in on this and that he was planted by Heller, as Heller fakes his amnesia to distract Jack from Tony and make everyone think he is disabled. But hes not and him, Mark, and Tony are all using AUDREY to get to JACK. Of course Audrey doesnt know this is happening. Unless... OMG. GUYS. WHAT IF AUDREY STARTED FALLING FOR TONY AFTER HE SAVED HER LIFE IN SEASON 4???? And ever since then, SHE has been involved with HIM!! OMG. She is probably helping Tony get to Jack! Tony and Audrey? I can see it. I bet Tony has been pulling the strings in Jacks life for a while... When Tony learned that Jack was in Africa, he probably started the coup there just to mess with Jack some more!! This goes very deep folks, and its all finally gonna come out in the open at the conclusion of Live Another Day. If you rewatch the series there are subtle hints about Tonys true agenda... Just watch. This has been masterfully crafted by the writers and producers. They may tell us they write as they go, but believe me, this is something 10 years in the making, made perfect by Carlos Bernards brilliant portrayal. A lot of you may think this is crazy, but you wait and see. Also, does anyone else think I look presidential like David Palmer? Im going to be running for mayor of my town.
